Xiaomi Youpin has made a significant addition to the audio market by launching two new TV speakers, the Xiaomi TV Speaker 2.1 and the Xiaomi TV Speaker 2.0. Both models are now available for purchase exclusively in China, reflecting Xiaomi’s ongoing commitment to enhancing home entertainment systems. These speakers not only promise an impressive audio experience but also incorporate convenience features such as NFC fast pairing and a built-in display.
The Xiaomi TV Speaker 2.1 stands out with its robust sound capabilities, offering a peak power output of 120 watts. With a price tag of 599 yuan (approximately $85 USD), which includes a 15% government subsidy, this model is designed to create an immersive sound environment. It features advanced acoustics, comprising two mid-high-range drivers, two tweeters, and a dedicated subwoofer, ensuring that users enjoy deep bass and clear highs.
On the other hand, the more budget-friendly Xiaomi TV Speaker 2.0 provides a peak power of 84 watts and is priced at 399 yuan (about $57 USD) with a similar subsidy. This speaker also incorporates two built-in subwoofers and two tweeters, delivering a well-rounded audio experience suitable for various media consumption needs.
Both the Xiaomi TV Speaker 2.1 and 2.0 are tailored for an enriched audio-visual experience, catering to those who demand quality sound without compromising on smart technology. However, currently, these models are only available in the Chinese market, with no announcements regarding their global release just yet. Nonetheless, Xiaomi has been expanding its presence internationally, recently introducing the Soundbar 2.0ch 15W speakers in various regions and offering the more powerful Soundbar 3.1ch with an output of 430 watts for around $199.
In related news, Xiaomi has been busy with product launches, having recently showcased its K80 series smartphones in a major event in China. Alongside its smartphones, the company debuted innovative gadgets including the Redmi Watch 5 and the Redmi Buds 6 Pro earbuds. These new releases are expected to appeal to both domestic and international markets as Xiaomi continues to expand its lineup of smart devices. This pattern of product expansion illustrates Xiaomi’s strategy of integrating a wide range of audio solutions into its ecosystem, enhancing the overall user experience.
As Xiaomi continues to innovate in the realm of technology, the introduction of the TV Speaker 2.1 and 2.0 sets a precedent for future devices that blend advanced features with consumer-friendly pricing. The prospects of a global debut for these audio systems remain unclear, but their initial reception in the Chinese market could pave the way for future international releases.
