In an exciting development for smartphone enthusiasts, Qualcomm’s forthcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset is making waves, having been spotted undergoing performance testing on a yet-to-be-released device, the Realme GT 7 Pro. Scheduled for an official unveiling next week in China, the Realme GT 7 Pro has already set the tech world ablaze with its outstanding performance numbers revealed via a leaked image of its AnTuTu benchmark results, shared by trusted insiders OnLeaks and Smartprix.

According to the benchmark data, the Realme GT 7 Pro, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, achieved an impressive score of 3,025,991 on AnTuTu, significantly surpassing Apple’s A18 Bionic chip, which managed a score of 1,651,728 on the iPhone 16 Pro Max. This noteworthy achievement not only highlights Qualcomm’s advancements but also positions the GT 7 Pro as a formidable competitor in the current battle of flagship devices. Interestingly, the score is comparable to that of the MediaTek Dimensity 9400, which registered around 3,007,853 points in similar tests.

The excitement doesn’t end there. Early performance indications suggest that the Snapdragon 8 Elite is equipped for consistent high performance across various benchmarks. Early tests conducted on the OnePlus 13, another smartphone utilizing the same powerful chipset, displayed impressive Geekbench numbers, including 3,216 points in single-core tasks and a remarkable 10,051 points in multi-core operations. Despite Apple’s A18 Pro outperforming the Snapdragon 8 Elite in Geekbench’s single-core benchmarks with a score of 3,358, the Snapdragon 8 Elite’s multi-core performance proved superior, where it outscored Apple’s offering by a notable margin, with A18’s multi-core result at 8,184 points.

As for the Realme GT 7 Pro’s specifications, leaks indicate it will boast a stunning 6.78-inch BOE OLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1.5K. Equipped with a micro quad curved screen, this device is designed to captivate users visually and functionally. Moreover, the smartphone has already received clearance from China’s 3C certification platform, signaling an impressive charging capability of up to 120W. Further bolstering its appeal, the device is rumored to house a robust 6,000mAh battery, promising extensive usage between charges.

Camera enthusiasts will also find much to be excited about with the Realme GT 7 Pro, which is expected to include a sophisticated camera setup. At its core will be a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 sensor, complemented by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and another 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 telephoto shooter, the latter offering impressive features including up to 3x optical zoom and potentially enhanced hybrid magnification. This means users can expect high-quality images and versatility in various shooting conditions.

With the Realme GT 7 Pro set to launch soon, the smartphone promises to deliver cutting-edge performance and standout features, all powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite. This combination enhances its potential to disrupt the current flagship market dominated by established names like Apple. As the mobile tech landscape evolves rapidly, enthusiasts and consumers alike will be watching closely to see how these devices fare in real-world usage following their release.
