MediaTek Launches Dimensity 8400 Chipset to Power Redmi Turbo 4 and More

The Redmi Turbo 4 scored an impressive 1642 points in single-core tests and an even more remarkable 6056 points in multi-core tests, surpassing its predecessor, the Redmi K70e, which was previously introduced as the world’s first smartphone featuring the Dimensity 8300 chip. The Dimensity 8400 is poised to compete directly with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, which boasts single-core scores reaching approximately 1800 and multi-core scores near 4800. Notably, the performance of the Dimensity 8400 positions itself strategically between the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 regarding multi-core efficiency.

Additionally, the Geekbench listing reveals that the Redmi Turbo 4 will come equipped with a generous 16 GB of RAM and will operate on Android 15, enriched with the latest HyperOS 2.0 overlay.

In terms of other specifications, the anticipated Redmi Turbo 4 features a striking 6.67-inch OLED display with a crisp 1.5K resolution and a fluid 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring a visually stunning user experience.
