In a bold move to secure its dominance in the mobile PC market, AMD has announced the launch of its latest Ryzen AI Pro 300 series processors, designed specifically for next-generation AI-powered computers. Building on the success of the Ryzen Pro 7040 series launched in 2023, which introduced a neural processing unit (NPU) capable of handling up to 10 tera operations per second (TOPS), the new Ryzen AI Pro 300 significantly ramps up performance to an impressive 50-55 TOPS.
