Accompanying this release, Anthropic introduced Claude Code, an AI agent designed specifically for developers, currently available as a limited research preview.

Anthropic also reported a significant improvement in the model’s responsiveness compared to its predecessor, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, by decreasing unnecessary refusals by 45%.
