In a significant expansion of its product lineup, Xiaomi has unveiled the Mijia Fresh Air Pro AC Simple White 1.5 HP, a cutting-edge air conditioning unit designed to provide exceptional cooling and heating performance. Set to be available for purchase starting tonight at 8 PM (CST), the new model is priced at 3,999 Yuan ($562). However, customers can benefit from an introductory offer of 3,599 Yuan ($506).

The Mijia Fresh Air Pro AC is a wall-mounted split unit with a power output of 1.5 HP, capable of both cooling and heating functions. One of its standout features is a variable frequency drive, which enhances operational efficiency while achieving a remarkable first-class energy efficiency rating with an Annual Performance Factor (APF) of 5.65. This model is designed to tackle extreme climatic conditions, providing rapid cooling in just 30 seconds and heating in 60 seconds. Its operational temperature range makes it versatile, functioning in environments as cold as -35°C and as hot as 65°C.

In terms of technical specifications, the Fresh Air Pro boasts a cooling capacity of 3,520W and a heating capacity of 5,110W. Even during high-power mode, the indoor unit operates at a noise level of only 36-42 dB(A), ensuring a calm home environment. A dual-cylinder compressor enhances stability at low frequencies by 30%, increases overload protection, and prolongs the lifespan of the unit compared to traditional single-cylinder designs. Further enhancing its capabilities, the air conditioner incorporates a dual-row condenser, increasing the heat exchange area by 82%, which contributes to its quick cooling and heating functionalities.

The unit is intelligently designed with Xiaomi’s Lingyun AI Engine, which adapts its operational mode to match the ambient conditions, ensuring optimal performance at all times. The dimensions are practical for residential settings, with the indoor unit measuring 965x325x215 mm and weighing 13 kg, while the outdoor unit measures 860x551x331 mm and weighs 28 kg. The air conditioner is ideally suited for rooms sized between 16-20m², making it perfect for medium-sized spaces.

Additionally, the Fresh Air Pro promotes comprehensive whole-house ventilation, featuring a 60m²/h air volume system, along with advanced four-layer HEPA purification technology that effectively eliminates 99% of bacteria and viruses, 93% of formaldehyde, and most pollen. Its ion purification system provides high-level sterilization, operates quietly at just 18dB, and includes a dedicated fresh air feature to remove 99% of PM2.5, CO, and TVOC pollutants. This functionality, alongside AI-driven cloud algorithms, promotes long-term energy savings and precise temperature regulation.

Xiaomi’s latest air conditioner supports HyperOS Connect, allowing users to control the unit seamlessly through the Mijia App, Xiao AI voice assistant, and innovative NFC-based ‘Tap-to-Control’ functionality. To ensure user comfort, it also offers various airflow modes, including ceiling, carpet, and surround wind, designed to prevent uncomfortable direct drafts.

The Mijia Fresh Air Pro AC is designed to integrate smoothly with the Xiaomi Home ecosystem, enhancing its usability with over-the-air (OTA) updates for continuous improvements. Most notably, the installation process has been tailored to be user-friendly, typically eliminating the need for extra ductwork or extensive wall modifications.

In a broader context, Xiaomi recently expanded its portfolio further with the introduction of two smart home devices: the Mijia Smart Aroma Diffuser Set and the Mijia Smart Blender P1. The Aroma Diffuser impresses with a battery life of up to 50 days and compatibility with HyperOS, while the Blender P1 boasts a powerful 35,000 rpm motor, 13-layer noise reduction, and also features HyperOS integration. These devices continue to solidify Xiaomi’s dominance in the smart home ecosystem, illustrating the company’s commitment to offering innovative and practical solutions for modern living.
